I tried taking Marta vs driving to a Braves game and it wasn't even close

Last Saturday me and my buddy decided to finally take Marta to the Battery for a Braves game instead of driving. I had been dreading it because I figured it would take forever and be sketchy. But we parked at the Doraville station at 4pm and were at the stadium by 4:35 with zero traffic stress. Compare that to driving where you sit on 285 for an hour then pay 40 bucks to park in some dusty lot. I saved like 30 bucks on parking and didn't have to fight through that post game chaos on the connector. Has anyone else had a similar experience ditching the car for a game or concert down here?

30 bucks for parking??? that alone would make me switch. I just can't get over how much cheaper it is lol I always thought Marta would be way more of a hassle but that time sounds pretty good honestly.

@taylor_miller10 you got a point but 30 bucks for parking isn't universal lol I pay 15 at my deck downtown. still cheaper than Marta monthly passes if you do the math tho. the time thing really depends on where you live, like from buckhead to midtown Marta is faster than driving most days.
