Showerthought: I used to think the Nazca Lines were just giant pictures until I saw a drone survey from 2022 showing the new geoglyphs near Palpa.

I mean, seeing those 168 new figures, some of them people, totally flipped my view from 'big art' to maybe a complex water map or something way more practical for that dry place, idk, has anyone else had a find change their whole take on a site?

Complex water map" is a big leap from some new pictures in the dirt.

Ever feel like you're staring at a mess of data and need to make it simple? I was stuck on a project last month with a ton of scattered survey points. What clicked for me was just drawing the obvious flow paths first, like where water would naturally go downhill, before trying to make any big picture. That basic step turned my random dots into a clear pattern. It's a solid starting point, rubys80, before calling anything a complex map.
