Hit 72 from a medieval site once and it completely changed how I read the landscape. Field walking made way more sense after that, like the fragments finally told a story.

72 pieces from one walk? That seems like a lot. Maybe the soil just churned up weird that day or something. Idk, I've found a few things over the years and it never really clicked for me, just felt like more junk to carry.
