Just realized I hit 1,000 dryer vent cleanings since 2022
I keep a tally on my shop wall, just little marks in a notebook. Last week I counted and it was exactly 1,000. Started this trade solo back in 2022 and honestly thought I'd burn out by 500. Most of them are the same routine, pull the machine, vacuum the line, check the outside flap. But yesterday this one house in Modesto had a nest in the vent and it took me an extra 45 minutes. That kinda job is why I still like it. Has anyone else kept a running count of a specific repair and gotten surprised by the number?

Man, hitting 1,000 solo in just a couple years is no joke! What made you start keeping that tally in the first place, was it to track the money or just to see if you could stick with it? That nest job sounds like the kind of curveball that keeps the work from feeling like Groundhog Day.
