Found a trick for unclogging dishwasher drain lines at a rental in Austin

Was working on a 6 year old Bosch in a rental property last week and noticed the drain line had this gnarly hard clog that wouldn't budge with a snake. I used a wet/dry vac to suck it from the other end and it cleared it in 30 seconds flat. Has anyone else tried this method on tough clogs?

Six years old and a Bosch? Those things usually last forever. Bummer.

Used to think Bosch was bulletproof, but hearing this makes me reconsider. Guess even the good ones can have issues.
