Bought a $180 leak detector gizmo to find a fridge leak, it pointed at the drain pan I'd already checked twice
Picked up one of those electronic leak sniffers at a supply house in Reno because I was chasing a slow water leak under a customer's fridge for 3 service calls. The thing beeped like crazy at the drain pan, which I had already dried and ruled out, and the real problem was a cracked fill line behind the unit the entire time. Anybody got a method that actually works for finding slow leaks, or do I just keep pulling fridges out and staring at the floor?
