Unpopular opinion: the $80 Blu-ray box set was actually worth it

Honestly everyone keeps saying physical anime is dead and streaming is the way, but I spent $80 on the full 2019 Fruits Basket set and it hit different. The extras and the clean menus made me realize I was missing out on context that gets cut on Crunchyroll. Plus my wifi went out for a whole weekend and I had something to watch without buffering. Has anyone else gone back to discs after swearing them off?

Noticing how everything's become a subscription now, from car features to coffee machines, owning something outright feels like a small rebellion. Having that box set on my shelf means it's actually mine, no login or internet required, and that's worth the cash.
