PSA: Hitting 500 episodes logged on MyAnimeList hit me harder than I expected

I was just checking my profile on Sunday night in Austin and realized my completed list crossed 500 episodes this month. That number felt crazy because I started tracking in 2021 during the lockdown and figured I'd stop after 100. But then I noticed my dropped list was sitting at 37 titles, and that weirdly made more sense to me than the 500. Like, I remember every single show I bailed on and why, but I can barely recall half of what I finished. Anyone else ever hit a milestone on their list that made them question how they pick shows in the first place?
