I started watching Attack on Titan at double speed and it actually made the pacing better

I kept hearing everyone say the show is a masterpiece but I couldn't get past the slow parts in season 2... so I tried watching at 1.5x speed on my tablet and suddenly the whole story clicked for me. The fights feel more intense and the talking scenes don't drag on forever. Has anyone else tried messing with playback speed to fix an anime's pacing?

Ngl I used to think watching stuff sped up was cheating but you might be onto something here. Gonna try this on some other slow shows I've been putting off.
