I finally got the air fryer timing right for frozen dumplings

My neighbor knocked on the door last Tuesday to ask what I was cooking because it smelled like the dim sum place in Flushing, and after 4 failed batches that were either burnt or raw inside, the 375 degrees for 9 minutes with a shake at 5 finally nailed it, anyone else have a recipe that took more tries than they'll admit?

Hell yeah, I used to swear by pan frying everything but those air fryer frozen dumplings are a whole different animal. I figured it was just a gimmick, but after watching my wife nail them perfectly one night and then me getting crusty burnt shells the next, I gave in and started following her exact temp and time. It honestly took me about six tries before I stopped treating it like a deep fryer and just let the thing do its job. Now I eat them at least twice a week, no lie.
