Burned my first batch of chicken wings pretty bad last night

I was trying out a new dry rub recipe I found on here and set my Cosori to 400 for 20 minutes like it said. Forgot that I stacked the wings too close together in the basket and the ones on top came out almost black on one side. Still ate them anyway with some ranch dressing, but next time I'll do a single layer and check at 15 minutes. Anyone else have a wing disaster they learned from?

Still ate them anyway with some ranch dressing" is literally me lol. I did the exact same thing with my Cosori last month except it was frozen fries that came out looking like charcoal briquettes. Ate them with ketchup and didn't care though. The single layer thing is key, I've learned you gotta crowd the basket way less than you think. Also 400 for 20 mins is too long unless you flip halfway, trust me.

Oh come on, is a slightly overdone fry really worth all this analysis (like life is short, just eat them)? I mean I get the technique talk but we're acting like burnt fries are a crisis or something.

The single layer thing is overrated, honestly. I pile my basket full and just give it a good shake halfway through, turns out fine every time.
