The barista who said my AI notes were overkill just saved me an hour daily

Been using an AI voice recorder to transcribe every meeting for like 6 months, then a barista at my usual spot in Portland saw me fiddling with it and said 'you know the AI can summarize that for you, right?' I thought it was some sales pitch but tried it anyway. Now I just dump raw audio and ask it for action items instead of reading through 10 page transcripts. Took me from 2 hours of note cleanup to maybe 45 minutes a day. Anyone else start with one AI tool and then find out it does way more than you asked for?

Whoa, hold on. You went from 2 hours to 45 minutes because a barista told you to hit a button? That sounds more like you were just doing things the hard way on purpose.
