Just realized my 'AI optimized' productivity app was doing all the thinking for me

Paid $15 a month for that app that auto-generates my to-do lists and schedules, thought it was genius. After 2 months I had zero idea how to plan my own day and missed a dentist appointment because it rescheduled everything. Anyone else ditch the automation and go back to a paper planner?

Honestly, my paper planner just reminds me I forgot everything, that's progress.

Ha, @taylor_miller10, that's the REAL system working as intended. My phone calendar does the same thing, but with more guilt and a red badge. Actually, last week I wrote "buy milk" in three different places, lost all of them, and then bought milk twice anyway on a whim. So now my planner's just a place for me to practice my handwriting and occasionally find old to-do lists that make me feel like I'm unearthing ancient artifacts. Progress is a LIE we tell ourselves so we don't throw the whole notebook in the trash.
