Cold brew hype finally got me after years of doubting
I was that person rolling their eyes at everyone buying those fancy cold brew makers... figured it was just overpriced iced coffee. But my buddy brought over a jug from that shop on Elm Street last summer and it was honestly smoother than anything I'd made at home. Now I'm using a $20 mason jar setup from Target and kicking myself for wasting years on burnt drip coffee. Anybody else cave on something they swore they'd never try?

Started the same way - swore up and down I'd never be one of those "cold brew guys." Now I'm the one annoying my friends about how you just have to try this new ratio I found... my wife keeps finding coffee grounds in weird places around the kitchen.

oh man the grounding thing is too real. I found some in the silverware drawer last week, no idea how that even happens. I was the same way though, cold brew just felt like a trend I could skip. then I made a batch that came out perfect and now I'm that guy too. my friends probably roll their eyes when I start talking about steeping times but I can't help it. the smoothness just hits different once you get it right.

I gotta disagree, the smooth taste just tastes weak to me and I like my coffee with some bite to it. I tried a few cold brews and it's just not worth the 20 hour wait.
