A guy at the gas pump told me my 33s weren't real off-road tires and honestly it got in my head
He was filling up his Tacoma on Route 9 near Poughkeepsie and said anything under a 35 is just for looks, which bugged me way more than it should have. I've run 33s for 4 seasons on the same set and never once got stuck, so now I'm wondering if I'm actually leaving capability on the table or if he was just gatekeeping. Any of you run 33s and feel like you're missing out, or is 35+ really the line?
