inWhy I trace every circuit, no exceptions
Good call tracing every time. That kind of near miss is seriously scary. Better to be too careful than not careful enough.

inWhy gadget review scores are mostly useless to me now
Ever try looking for reviews from people who use the thing the exact same way you will? I got burned on a vacuum that had great scores until I realized all the reviews were from people in apartments. Once I searched for "vacuum for old house with pets" the real useful opinions popped up.

inVent: Saw a roofer working without a safety harness yesterday.
Saw a news piece last week about a roofer who fell from no harness. It's crazy how common that is. They really need to enforce the rules better.

inI never expected seagulls to be the biggest hurdle in a coastal install
Consider how @carter.laura's focus on pure efficiency misses the bigger picture... sometimes those "problems" create unique community engagement you can't buy. That client's viral video probably generated more local goodwill and interest in solar than a perfectly sterile install ever could. A little adaptive patience with nature can build a better reputation than just slapping up deterrents and calling it a day.

inStruggling with insomnia after a hectic week, I turned to a sleep meditation guide and it actually helped, but my buddy swears by white noise machines instead.
Spencerm90 nails it with the observation about apps replacing natural rest. This points to a wider sickness in how we approach wellness now, treating every human need as a problem to be solved with technology. We've handed over sleep, meditation, even breathing to corporate platforms that profit from our disconnection. Instead of cultivating quiet or adjusting lifestyles, we download another fix that often just masks the issue. It's a band aid on a bullet wound, and spencerm90's comment highlights how normalized this has become. We're losing the ability to just be without an interface.
