Update: Coordinating with other trades before a pour changed everything

We used to just show up and deal with conduit cuts after the fact. Now, we meet with the plumbers and electricians to mark EVERYTHING first. It adds an hour to setup but saves a full day of grinding and repair. The floor looks seamless and clients love it.

Yeah, marking first is a game changer, @carr.elliot. Just gotta make sure everyone uses the same chalk color though. We had a pour where plumbers used blue and we used white, so a pipe got covered. Now we all stick to red and it saves even more headache.

The chalk color tip is good but honestly that extra hour to mark everything kills our schedule. My crew is never on the same page as the other trades anyway, so we just grind it out after. It's just part of the job for us.

Honestly, that's smart to mark everything first. Spending an hour upfront saves so much time later. I used to hate all the grinding and patching after the pour. Now it just makes sense to get it right from the start.
