Struggling with the new predictive maintenance software's false alarms has me reconsidering our entire vibration analysis approach.
After wasting a full shift investigating a critical alert that turned out to be a sensor calibration error, I'm convinced our threshold settings need a complete overhaul.

Our plant's predictive software had a similar calibration issue on pump P-205 just last week. Tbh, we lost a full day chasing a ghost because the default thresholds were way too tight. Honestly, revising those settings made the system actually useful for once.
