My fridge-cleanout soup turned out incredible

Ngl, I was just using up leftovers, but the flavor combo was perfect. Anyone else have happy accidents in the kitchen?

Oh I love when that happens, lol. Some of my best meals have been total fridge cleanout experiments. It feels like a weird kitchen win.

Totally get that, it happens all the time here. Just last week I tried to whip up a soup from leftover veggies and it turned into this weird lentil sludge. The pot was a nightmare to clean, honestly looked like something died in there. But you gotta laugh about it later, right? Sometimes the complete failures make for a better story than the perfect meals.
