Totally see that pattern everywhere once you start looking for it. Like how tilting a pan just right stops eggs from sticking, or letting a car engine run for a minute on a cold morning. These tiny adjustments aren't in any manual, but they make stuff work so much better. It's like there's this whole hidden knowledge base built from small fixes that people just figure out over time. Makes you realize the real experts are usually the ones who've messed it up enough times to find the simple solution.

Yeah, those random hardware store tips are golden. I mean, adjusting the angle just a bit totally changed my heat control.

Adjusting the angle really is a game-changer. I read this old forum post where a guy said tilting his grill grate slightly made all the difference for even cooking. He claimed it stopped hot spots and saved him from burnt burgers. It sounded so simple I almost didn't try it, but hey, it worked. Now I'm always on the lookout for those offhand tips from people who've been there. Sometimes the best advice comes from the most random places.
