Found a personal letter in a library book and it changed my whole process
I was at the main branch in Seattle and pulled a 1970s gardening guide off the shelf, and a full page handwritten letter to 'Margaret' about a family secret fell out. Now I always check every single page of a used book before I even start reading, because you never know what's tucked inside. Anyone have a good system for storing or returning these kinds of finds?

Did you ever try to find Margaret to return her letter?

Nah, @faith_carter, I never really looked for her.

Honestly, you just need to pick a lane. Either make a real effort to find her, maybe through old mutual friends or a social media search, or just accept you're not going to. Holding onto the letter while doing nothing is the weird part.
