Once found a 1970s recipe for jello salad with hot dogs stuffed in it, real weird.

Yeah but that's just one weird recipe from fifty years ago. People act like the whole decade was nothing but hot dog jello nightmares when most folks were eating regular food. It's more of a funny trivia thing than proof the 70s were some culinary disaster zone.
