Shoutout to the guy at the open house in Phoenix who saved me from a bad deal
I was ready to put an offer on a house last month, but another buyer in line started talking about the roof. He pointed out the shingles were curling and said his friend paid 12 grand to fix the same thing. The seller's agent tried to brush it off, but I got a proper inspection and found major water damage. How do you push for a real look at a house when the agent is rushing you?

So what did the agent say when you asked?

Right? @the_emma, it's always the same. Mine gave me this whole speech about "market conditions" and then ghosted for a week. Last time they just sent a link to a page I'd already read. You have to chase them down for every single update.

That "market conditions" speech is a classic stall. I just set a hard deadline for the next update when I hear that. If they miss it, I start looking for a new agent.
