Finally gave up on my old cordless drill for setting posts and switched to a proper impact driver. The difference in a full day's work is just crazy.

Ngl, that first day with an impact driver feels like unlocking a cheat code. You stop fighting the tool and just get work done. Driving long lags into a deck frame goes from a sweaty, two-handed struggle to a quick buzz. Your wrist and forearm will thank you at the end of the day, trust me.

Right? It's a total game changer. Once you use one, you can't go back to a regular drill for screws.

My husband used our old cordless drill to build our entire back fence ten years ago. He spent a whole weekend just on the post holes, fighting that thing every inch. The thought that he could have done it in a single afternoon with the right tool is just hard to believe.
