Changed my mind on post levels after a client complaint

I always thought post levels were extra hassle for no gain. Then I installed a fence that started leaning within a week. The client called, and I had to redo several posts in the rain. Now, I check every post with a level before moving on. It might slow me down a little, but it saves me from callbacks. My work is more consistent, and I sleep better at night. Sometimes, the old ways are the best for a reason.

Wait, it started leaning in just a week? That's wild... I figured you'd get at least a season out of it before any real issues showed up. A single week is basically no time at all, it must have been way off. No wonder that callback was such a nightmare.

Post levels seemed useless until gravity and rain teamed up against you. That callback in a downpour is nature's way of saying 'check your work'. Now you've learned the hard way, but your fences will stand tall.

Oh man, I feel this SO hard. I used a regular level once and swore it was fine, but the first big storm had my whole line leaning like dominoes. Now I ONLY trust a long level across the tops of multiple posts before I set them in concrete. That extra minute checking each one saves a weekend of redoing the whole thing. It's a brutal lesson but you only learn it once!
