Got invited to a networking app for local founders and it's way different.

I joined this new app that sets up quick coffee chats with other entrepreneurs in my area. It feels more personal than LinkedIn. What do you think about these digital networking tools?

Quick coffee chats in person? That’s wild to me, most apps just do video calls. Actually meeting up changes the whole game.

Honestly these apps try too hard to make things happen fast. A quick coffee chat feels like a forced meeting, not real networking. Like @chen.jamie said, trust needs more than a rushed half hour. It's just another way to collect contacts without any real follow through. The whole thing can end up feeling pretty empty.
