Had a governor rope jump the sheave in a 20-story building

We were doing a full rope replacement in Chicago and the old governor line slipped during tensioning. I had to re-thread it with the car at the top floor while my partner held the safety, took us an extra three hours. Anyone ever have a governor give them that much trouble on a high-rise?

Honestly that sounds like a standard Tuesday. Rope jumping the sheave happens, three hours to re-thread with a safety isn't the end of the world. Seen way worse on lower floors where you have zero room to work.
