Last Tuesday's service call in Bakersfield turned into a four-hour maze chase

I got sent to a house where three different circuits were all dead in the kitchen, but the breaker panel was a total mess of unlabeled wires. Turned out a previous guy had backstabbed all the outlets and one came loose, killing power to the whole counter loop. Has anyone else run into a hidden junction box behind drywall that just ruins your day?

Four hours for a loose backstab? That's a bit dramatic.

My buddy Tom once decided to fix his own garbage disposal, and it took him FIVE hours because he kept dropping the tiny screws into the drain. He ended up having to take the whole thing apart twice, and by the end his hands were raw and the kitchen smelled like old chicken bones. So yeah, four hours for a loose backstab seems totally reasonable compared to that nightmare.
