City inspector just no-showed again, pushing my timeline back a week.
We cleared our schedule for this morning's walk-through. Now I have to rearrange three other jobs. How do you keep clients calm when inspections fall through?

Frame it as the inspector being overbooked, not lazy. Clients get that.

@shaneross is totally right about blaming overbooking instead of laziness. I had an inspector ghost me twice in June, and clients were way more patient when I framed it as a system issue. It just keeps everyone from getting too stressed about delays.

Check if the inspector is truly overbooked or just disorganized. Using that excuse too often can make clients doubt you later.
