Spent $450 on a new impeller for the main pump and it paid for itself in a week.

We were losing suction and burning through fuel on the old one. The new one got our yardage back up by almost 30% on the first big job. Anyone else had a simple part swap make that big a difference?

Been there, those little fixes that pay for themselves instantly are the best feeling.

Totally! I read somewhere that small wins like that actually boost your mood more than big projects.

My kitchen sink dripped for three months before I finally replaced the washer. That ten minute job saved me maybe five bucks a month, but I smiled every time I turned the faucet on for a week. It feels like we're wired to get a real kick out of closing those tiny, annoying loops. The big stuff is just stressful, but fixing a squeaky door or clearing a clogged drain gives you a clean win.
