Wait, you drafters actually do lineweights manually in CAD?
I've been doing architectural drafting for about 8 years now and I just found out last Tuesday that some of you guys still change every single line property by hand. I always thought everyone used plot styles and layer assignments to automate it. A senior guy at my firm saw me working and was like wheres your lineweight override panel and I had no clue what he meant. Turns out he thought I was a rookie. So which side are you on - manual adjustments for control or automated settings for speed?

Three years ago at my old firm I watched a guy manually change every single window line in a 12 story condo building because he didn't trust plot styles lol. He was like "I just like knowing exactly what each line looks like" and it took him an extra two days. Meanwhile I had all my layers set up with the right colors and plot weights before I even started drawing. I don't get how you can go back and forth between OSnap settings and lineweight overrides all day without losing your mind.
