A friend said my work setup looked like a 'panic station' and it clicked
I was working from a cafe in Lisbon last month, and my buddy pointed out my laptop was at a weird angle, my notebook was sliding, and I had cords everywhere. He said, 'Man, that looks like a panic station, not a workstation.' I realized I was sacrificing comfort for speed when setting up. I bought a cheap laptop stand and a small cable organizer bag the next day. Has anyone else had a simple comment make them fix a basic nomad habit?

My old coffee shop setup was pure chaos.

But what made it chaos, @casey_ramirez35?

Was it really chaos though, or just a busy counter with some messy cups? I feel like people call any crowded space pure chaos now. It's just coffee, not an emergency room. Maybe your old spot just needed a bigger trash can.
