Paid $15 for a 'premium' photo sorting app and it deleted my duplicates wrong
I thought I was finally clearing out 2,000 blurry pics from my San Diego trip, but the app removed the good versions instead of the doubles. Has anyone else had a so-called smart organizer mess up their files like that?

Man I learned that one the hard way with like 300 pics from a wedding. First thing I did was check if the app had a "recover" or "restore" option in the trash folder, most of em keep deleted files for 30 days. If not, I just switched to sorting by file size and date manually, takes longer but at least I'm in control. Also back everything up to Google Photos before running any cleanup, that way even if it messes up you can pull the originals back.
