Stop obsessing over 4K, learn to crop like a pro instead
For 3 years I posted full 4K renders to my portfolio and got maybe 12 views each. A guy in a Discord critique channel told me to crop to 2:1 and hide the boring edges. I tried it on a cityscape piece from last month, zoomed into a single alley with a neon sign, suddenly it looked cinematic. Got 3 commission requests in a week. Anyone else finding that tight crops beat high res detail shots?
