PSA: I compared OEM injectors to cheap remans on a 6.7 Powerstroke and one was clearly better
Last month I put a set of reman injectors from a no-name supplier into my 2015 F-450, and after 400 miles one started knocking so bad I had to pull the whole rail again. I swapped in a set of OEM Bosch injectors and the truck runs smoother than it ever did, even with 180k on the clock. Has anyone else had remans fail this quick or did I just get a bad batch?

Right, because 40k miles of "zero issues" is totally the same as 400 miles of catastrophic knocking. I guess failure rate doesn't apply to your specific truck or something? I'm just saying, that kind of luck doesn't pay for a rail job (and the downtime) when it goes wrong. I'd rather pay for Bosch from the start than gamble on a parts lottery where the prize is a tow truck ride. You do you, though.

Wow, I have to push back here! I've run cheap remans on my 6.7 for 40k miles with zero issues, and I think you just got a bad batch (it happens with any supplier, even Bosch).
