Just realized I've been paying $18 a month for a gym membership I haven't used since March

I found the old bank statement from 3 years ago when I signed up for that 24-hour place in Austin, and after canceling today they told me I could've frozen it for free back in April if I'd just called, so has anyone else got stuck paying for something dumb like this because you forgot one stupid phone call?

Call and cancel, then set a reminder for anything else.
