Realized my lunch break timer was the problem, not my focus
I kept losing whole afternoons to web surfing after lunch at my desk in Portland. Tried timers, apps, even closing the browser, nothing stuck for more than 3 days. Then I started taking my sandwich to the park bench two blocks down, no phone, just eating. Turns out I needed the physical break to reset, and now I'm back to real work by 1pm. Anyone else find that leaving your actual desk is the only trick that works?
