Seeing my old dog nap through playtime made me adjust our routine

Today, my dog slept right through his usual afternoon play session. I stopped waking him up for games a while back, and now he chooses when to join in. Do your pets tell you when they're done with certain activities?

Totally get that. My cat does the same thing with her evening zoomies. Honestly she just naps until she's ready to cause chaos.

Oh wow that reminds me of my friend's cat. She has this whole routine where she sleeps like a rock all afternoon, then bolts around the house at midnight like a tiny race car. Last week she somehow got a plastic bag stuck on her head during her zoomies and ran full speed into a door. It was so loud we all jumped, but the cat just shook it off and kept going like nothing happened. Total chaos agent lol.
