Cold brew exploded on my counter at 6am, now I strain differently
My Mason jar setup finally betrayed me after 8 months of use. The lid popped off and coffee went everywhere, all over my white cabinets and the dog. I switched to a cold brew pitcher with a built-in filter from Target for $15, and honestly the cleanup alone is worth it. Has anyone else had a brew vessel fail on them, or am I just cursed with weak glass?

The dog getting caught in the crossfire is the real tragedy here, poor thing probably smells like a coffee shop now. Glass jars can handle the pressure for a while but eventually one weak spot gives out, so you're not cursed, just unlucky. At least the pitcher saves you from mopping the ceiling at sunrise.
