My scheduled video post failed to go live on YouTube last Friday
The Creator Studio dashboard showed it was published, but the video was actually stuck in 'processing' for 6 hours. Anyone know a reliable way to double-check the actual live status?

That blog post about dashboard lag is right. I also look at the real-time analytics graph for views. If that flatlines at zero, it's a dead giveaway the video isn't actually public yet.

Anthony's incognito window trick is a solid move, I do that too. A tech blog I read last month said YouTube's dashboard can lag behind the real status. They suggested also checking the video from a totally different device not logged into your account, like a family member's phone. That gives you the true public view. It's a pain but better than finding out hours later your video never went live.
