Hit 500 subs on my stop motion channel and felt weirdly empty about it
I do clay stop motion videos and 6 months ago I was sitting at like 40 subs, then a video about a sock puppet detective blew up and pushed me to 500 last Thursday. Part of me thinks milestones like this are just vanity numbers that don't mean anything, but the other part thinks they matter because they prove people outside my friend group actually care. I can't decide if I should chase that same style of video for the growth or keep doing my slow weird stuff that only 12 people watch. Anyone here hit a number that felt bigger or smaller than they expected? Which side do you land on?
