Appreciation post: I thought the 'post three times a week' advice was just noise

I was convinced my content was fine with one big post a month, but after tracking my analytics for 8 weeks, the weeks I posted three short things saw a 40% jump in profile visits. What's a small schedule shift that actually worked for you guys?

Honestly thought that advice was just people repeating what they heard. Figured quality over quantity was the only rule that mattered. But seeing your numbers makes a real case, doesn't it? Started trying two posts a week instead of my usual one, and the difference in comments was obvious. Makes you wonder what other basic advice we're all ignoring.

Right? @the_sage is onto something, we all just nod at the common tips without trying them. It's like ignoring the recipe and being shocked your cake sucks. Maybe we should actually test the basic stuff before we call it boring.

So you're actually tracking the numbers now? What made you finally decide to test it instead of just assuming it was wrong?
