Question about locating an underground line, three days of digging
Ran a small condo job over in Maplewood. Blueprints said the water line ran one way, but after three days of hand digging and two rented locators, I found it 4 feet off the mark near a buried stump. Nobody flagged that old septic tank from the 60s. Is it normal for utility maps to be that far off on older properties, or am I just getting unlucky? Has anyone else dealt with this around here?
