Boss pushed us to try a power screed on a 4,000 sq ft pour in Dallas, I thought it was a waste of money
I told him it was overkill for a slab that size and we'd spend more time setting it up than just pulling it by hand. He rented one anyway, and after 20 minutes of getting the hang of it my back was thanking me and our flatness was way tighter than usual. We finished that pour an hour and a half early, which never happens on a Friday. The finish crew barely had to touch it before the power trowel. Anyone else get dragged into using one of these and end up buying your own?
