A homeowner's one comment fixed my garage floor finish
Poured a 400 sq ft garage slab last month in Toledo and was about to power trowel it smooth like I always do. The homeowner watched and said "can we keep some broom texture so I don't eat it when wet?" I laughed but he was right, smooth concrete in a garage is a slip hazard. Switched to a light broom finish on the last pass and he tipped me an extra $100. Anyone else had clients point out something so obvious you felt dumb for missing it?
