The old bus route I took for 8 years got canceled and now my commute is 45 minutes longer

Our town did the same thing back in 2013 with the number 12 bus that ran right past the grocery store. It took them two years to bring back a shorter version of the route after enough people complained at city council meetings. I ended up driving for those two years and it really ate into my gas money and patience.
