Switched from a big travel mug to a 16 oz insulated bottle for my coffee on the road and it stays hot way longer.
The mug would be lukewarm after an hour, but this bottle keeps it steaming for my whole three-hour morning stretch, so what's your go-to for keeping drinks the right temp during a long drive?

Honestly, I just use a cheap gas station tumbler with a lid. It's not fancy but it does the job for my commute. I tried the insulated bottles but I always end up losing them somewhere. The key for me is that lid, it has to seal tight. As long as it's not spilling, I'm happy even if it gets a bit cool.

So you're basically saying you prefer your coffee to taste like sad, lukewarm water. Got it.

My old gas station tumbler always let my coffee go cold before I even hit the highway. I finally spent twenty bucks on a decent insulated bottle and it was a total game changer for my long drives. I get the worry about losing them, but the temperature difference is so huge it's worth the extra attention to keep track of it. Once you get used to actually hot coffee halfway through your trip, there's just no going back.
