Shoutout to my dive light for a storage room mess

I was sorting through my storage room last weekend. Grabbed my professional dive light to see into the dark corners. That thing is way too bright for indoor work. Flipped the switch and it was like a flashbang went off. My vision went white and I bumped into a shelf. A crate of old regulators crashed down, scattering parts everywhere. Spent the next two hours trying to match screws and o-rings. Lesson learned, keep the dive gear for the water. Any of you guys do dumb stuff like this with your kit?

Heard a similar story about a headlamp in an attic.

Absolutely, those attic stories are common. My friend had a headlamp up there that kept turning on by itself. We never did figure out how it worked.

I mean, two hours matching screws is brutal. Were any of the regulators totally ruined after that crash?
