Unpopular opinion: I sorted my comics by color and it looks awesome
I was tired of the usual ways to sort comics. So I tried something new and grouped them by cover color. It took a whole weekend to do. Now my shelves look like a rainbow when I walk in. It's not practical for finding issues fast, but it makes me smile. I think other fans might like this idea for display. It turned my boring storage into part of the decor. A small win that made my fan space better.

Ever consider how sorting by color could change the way you read them? You might notice patterns, like all your favorite stories have green covers or something. It's like your collection tells a new story based on the colors. Plus, it makes guests do a double-take when they see it. Who says organization has to be boring, right?

Color coding is great until you need to find something fast. Then it's just a pretty mess that slows you down.

That's all fun until you actually need to find a specific book. Trying to remember if "Dune" has a blue or a yellow spine is a whole new puzzle. Looks pretty on the shelf, sure, but turns reading time into a frustrating scavenger hunt. Do that with mail and you'd get fired on day one. Pretty rainbows aren't worth the hassle when you just want your stuff.
