Trying to find a specific issue of The Amazing Spider-Man from 1991 took me three months

I was looking for issue #350, the one with the silver cover, because my buddy swore it had a printing error in the first panel. Checked every shop in a 50 mile radius and scrolled through so many online listings. Finally found a copy at a tiny convention in Omaha last weekend, tucked in a dollar bin. Anyone else get stuck hunting for one comic way longer than it should take?

I used to think hunting for a single issue was a waste of time, but finding that weird misprint of X-Force #1 in a gas station magazine rack changed my mind. The chase is part of the fun now, even when it takes forever.

No kidding, that's the best part! I had a similar thing happen with an old Spider-Man issue I found tucked in a box of my dad's records. It's not even worth much, but the hunt and the surprise find make it special. Those random discoveries beat just buying it online any day.
